Q: What is Answer2Day.com?
A: Answer2Day is a game, where users can submit questions and other users have to answer them, each user gets points for a correct answer, and points for submitting questions. Obviously we are normal users so we cant exactly answer rocket science questions, which is why we have moderators in place to deal with any questions that they deem unfit. Personal opinion questions are not allowed either, as how are we meant to know what you are thinking. So its more a fun game, Read more in the FAQ about how the points work to see more. The player with the most points at the end of the round will win a free domain.

Q: What's the catch?
A: We get asked this all the time, the fact is there is none, this service is provided free of charge, to say thank you to users who use our other services. Without you we wouldn't be able to provide other services, so in return we offer you free domains. Of course we cannot buy every single user a domain name, this is why we came up with this game.

Q: What domains can i get?
A: We will purchase you a domain from www.directdomainreg.com , which allows the following extensions .com/.net/.org/.info/.biz/.us/.name All domains are subject to our tos and directdomainregs tos . We have no control over directdomainregs terms of service, and will not help you if they feel the need to terminate your site for breaking there tos.

Q: How does it work?
A: This site works on a points system, currently the system is setup to work like the following.
Add a question = 3 points
Answer a question correctly = 2 points
Answer a question incorrectly = 0 points
Answer a Hard question correctly = 7 points
Answer a Hard question incorrectly = 0 points
Surf a site = 1 point
Get a referal = 20 points
We will find inappropriate questions all the time, moderators will deal with them like the following
1 inappropriate question, you loose half your points, and the question is deleted.
2 inappropriate questions, you loose all your points, and the question is deleted
3 inappropriate questions, you loose all your points and all future questions submitted will be subject to moderator before being included in the queue.
4 inappropriate questions, you loose all chances of winning a domain.

If you are wondering what we find as inappropriate, by that we mean, anything that wont suit, we don't want your personal opinion ie, who is the better team celtic or rangers Of course the answer is celtic, because celtic are just great. But that is my opinion which i wont submit because how will anyone be able to read my mind.
We also mean questions that are rocket science to normal users, but you wont be penalized for these questions, we are not strict but we have to keep it as friendly as possible for all users, this isn't possible but we can only do our best.
If you are frightened about posting questions because we may remove it, then don't be, we do understand that its not possible to submit questions that are not too easy questions but not too hard either , and if we think its not proper we will only remove, but if its totally breaking the rules ie asking about an illegal subject for example porn, it will be removed and you will be penalized.

Q: I have won now what?
A: If you have won you will be emailed, and you will see a feature in your account that shows domain information, you will have to fill in that form, and as soon as its been submitted and admin will be notified and when the next admin is available your domain will be registered and you will be emailed information about that domain, if you do not specify nameservers to start with we will host your domain nameservers for 7 days then its up too you to point them to your own server. Please allow up too 7days for your domain to be fully registered and handed over, although this can take anything from 30minutes to 7days.

Q: I won a domain can i win one in another round?
A: Of course the winner gets the domain no matter what, if you win all the rounds then you deserve the domain. We will provide you with the domain name.

Q: How can i check what domain to get?
A: Please check your domains at www.directdomainreg.com before attempting to register with us, otherwise you will be wasting more vaulable time.

Q: Your site is broken my score doesnt update?
A: Your score does update, but it will only update every hour. You will notice your next score update due on the top5 page which will tell you when the next update is due.

Q: Can i become a moderator?
A: Yes go to the feedback form and select Become a moderator, and fill out as much information in the box below, to why you should be a moderator, and how we can benefit from you helping us. Moderators will not be eligible to win a domain name, when you become a moderator we will buy you a domain and it will be hosted with us, we will provide you with the hosting. You will not have access to the domain name, this prevents you becoming a moderator then leaving without doing any work for us.

Q: Claiming time.
A: If you have won the round, you have 2 weeks(until the end of the next round) to claim the domain, that means filling out the information in your account panel. If you don't your domain will be carried over to the next round and the winner of the next round will receive it.

Q: I forgot my domain password how can i get it?.
A: Email domains@Answer2day.com with you domain name and your domain username, before your password is reset we will require phone verification.

Q: Can i move the domain to another registra?
A: Yes, but this is not taken care of our end directdomainreg will do this for you.

Q: I have won again, can i just get my domain registered for another year?
A: No you must register another domain, or we will credit your directdomainreg account, and you can renew it.

Q: Why did i loose my domain?
A: If you broke any directdomainreg terms of service, or used your domain for illegal activity you will loose access to your domain and we will take full control over it to investigate, if we find you used your domain for illegal activity the domain will be held by us, and your information will be given to the appropriate authorities, and you will be remove from our service.
